Israel Against Anti-Semitic Nobel Candidate

Israel is working to change the Union of Moldovan Authors’ decision to recommend writer Paul Goma for a Nobel Prize, Maariv reports. Goma has denied the Holocaust and is known to hold anti-Semitic views.

Goma has accused Romanian Jews of starting a war against Romania in the 1940s, and has refused to apologize for his statements, saying Jews are the ones who should apologize.
