Sixty people were killed in a bombing at a market in Pakistan's southwest , and officials believe the death toll may rise further as many of the 180 people who were wounded are in critical condition.

Senior police officer Wazir Khan Nasir said the bomb was detonated by remote control and was placed in a Shiite-Muslim dominated area.

Police believe the bomb may have been planted in a rickshaw in the crowded produce market.
