102 Injured as Meteorite Hits Ural Mountains


The Russian Interior Ministry reported, Friday, that 102 people called for medical assistance, mostly from broken glass caused by explosions, after fragments from a meteorite fell in the Chelyabinsk region of the Ural mountains, according to the Associated Press. The roof of a factory also collapsed.

There were conflicting reports whether it was a single meteorite or part of a shower.
