The International Committee of the Red Cross announced, Thursday, that it has closed its office in Ramallah. A spokeswoman for the organization announced that the offices will remain closed as long as demonstrators remain on the premises.

This week, Khader Adnan, who was released from Israeli custody after a hunger strike, started a demonstration in the Red Cross office in solidarity with the latest security prisoners to adopt the hunger-strike tactic.
