The Ometz movement commends the State Comptroller for his intervention in the police deputy Efraim Ehrlich affair that led to his promotion to rank of Commander.

Eight years ago Ehrlich’s promotion was suspended following his exposure of police negligence on the Farinian Brothers case. “Ometz is satisfied that following the unnecessary persecution of an esteemed officer who blew the whistle, Ehrlich has been promoted and assigned to the National Fire and Rescue Authority.”
