Source: PM Urges Labor MKs to Leave, Join Coalition

According to a report in Maariv, senior officials in the Jewish Home party and Yesh Atid are alleging that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is attempting to split the Labor Party, and is trying to convince five Labor MKs to abandon the party and join the coalition which is expected to be established in the coming weeks.

According to the sources, following the new alliance between Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid, Netanyahu realizes it would be impossible to form a coalition without including the two parties.

The sources added that if the Prime Minister can convince five Labor MKs to ion his coalition, he will then have enough MKs to form a coalition with the hareidi parties, HaTnua and Kadima.
