Likud-Beytenu Offers Jewish Home Finance and Education

Likud-Beytenu offered the Jewish Home party a number of senior appointments in the Knesset and the opportunity to have a significant impact on the new government.

The offer, valid for the next 48 hours, includes the transfer of the Education Ministry to the party and the senior economic portfolio (excluding the treasury) and the position of deputy minister of defense. Likud-Beytenu has also expressed their willingness to give Naftali Bennett's party the chairmanship of the Finance Committee.

However, the Jewish Home is a bit weary of the offers - as they suspect the move is an attempt by Likud-Beytenu to break the ties of Jewish Home and Yair Lapid's Yesh Atid.
