A student in industrial-design at Holon Technical College jokingly designed a kippah clip that includes a small knife, screwdriver, mini wrench, ruler and more. Now Yaakov Goldberg's joke has become a real product he is selling online. Many kippahs, or yarmulkes, are fastened upon one's head by a bobby pin or simple clip. Goldberg, who personally does not wear a kippah, has been written up in Maariv news, and Makor Rishon, among other media outlets for his new invention,. Many kippahs or the larger variety do not necessitate a clip to stay upon one's head. The clip is similar to a Swiss Army Knife or Leatherman, and is dubbed the “LeatherDOS.”
