Naftali Bennett, head of the Bayit Yehudi (Jewish Home) party said Sunday that reports of a pact with Yair Lapid’s Yesh Atid party are exaggerated. The parties have no official agreement, but merely a joint understanding on key issues, he told Army Radio (Galei Tzahal).
“We agree on certain issues… I’m ‘in a pact’ with anyone who agrees with us on the topics of ‘equal share in the burden’ and important economic reforms,” he said, adding, “We have a historic opportunity, and it would be a shame to waste it.”
