Kinneret Rises by 5 Centimeters

The surface of the Kinneret (Sea of Galilee) rose by five centimeters between Thursday morning and Sunday morning. The surface of the freshwater lake is now 210 meters and 48 centimeters below sea level. The Kinneret is Israel’s largest single source of fresh water. The surface has risen significantly the past two winters, just two years after becoming dangerously low due to a drought.
