Shama-Hacohen: Ramat Gan Crying Out for Change, Renewal

Carmel Shama-Hacohen, who was forced to leave the Knesset by virtue of Likud-Beyteinu's loss of 11 seats, said Friday, that the city of Ramat Gan "is crying out for change and renewal."

Referring, on Facebook, to his run for mayor, the former chairman of the Knesset Economic Affairs Committee said, "The polls make me blush and I am still not ready to settle for just changing the mayor chair. I dream about systemic change based on the full involvement of caring people who will push aside the wheeler-dealers and special-interest groups."
