The confirmation hearing of President Barack Obama's choice to run the CIA, John Brennan, was disrupted on Thursday by protesters opposed to the U.S. drone attacks against Al-Qaeda terrorists.

The protesters heckled Brennan before police cleared the hall to restore order, AFP reported. One woman reportedly shouted, "This is a war criminal. He should not be confirmed!"
