Israel Broke No International Laws Regarding Flotilla

The second part of the Turkel Committee has released its findings regarding the flotilla incident of 2010 in which a Turkish ship attempted to pass Israeli waters. Retired Justice Jacob Turkel stated that while there was room for improvement, Israel did not break any international laws in stopping the ships from docking in Gaza and delivering supplies to the region which is currently controlled by Hamas.

Commission observer Prof. Tim McCormack stated, "I think the State of Israel should be very proud of this contribution to the study of a very important area of the law."
