The Public inquiry into the Gaza flotilla incident released the second part of its examination into possible violations of international law by the IDF.

The Turkel Committee recommended that there is no proper system in place in Israel for inquiries into alleged violations of international law and that Israel must adopt legislation that would adhere to international war crime investigation norms.
