President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad landed in Cairo, Tuesday morning, at the start of a three-day visit. He was welcomed by Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi. On Wednesday, Ahmadinejad will attend the opening day of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation's summit in Cairo.

The visit is the first by an Iranian president since the revolution led by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini in 1979.
