Chairman Naftali Bennett of Habayit Hayehudi (Jewish Home-New National Religious Party) said, Tuesday, "The current situation, in which tens of thousands of hareidi-religious [Jews] do not learn and do not serve [in the military or national volunteer service] cannot [be allowed to] exist. It's Immoral."

Writing on his Facebook page, Bennett also said, "Torah study is a national value, not a hareidi-religious interest."
