Report: Livni Will Join Almost Any Coalition

Even though Chairwoman Tzipi Livni of the Hatenu'ah party did not recommend that President Shim'on Peres give Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu the task of forming the next government, it is possible that she will join the coalition he forms, according to a Monday-morning report by Ma'ariv/nrg.

Sources in Netanyahu's Likud party told the daily and its Website that Livni's people told them that she was headed in the direction of a coalition in almost every form. The sources said Livni put out messages that she would agree to be part of the next government, not only if Yair Lapid's Yesh Atid party enters, but also if the coalition consists of right-wing and hareidi-religious parties.
