Kiryat Shemonah Mayor: Routine but Residents Tense

Mayor Nissim Malka of Kiryat Shmonah said, Friday, that residents of the Upper Galilee city are tense, between this week's reports of an Israeli air strike on Syria, planes circling overhead and the placement of Iron Dome anti-missile batteries in the Haifa and Tzfat areas. Interviewed by Arutz Sheva's Hebrew service, Rabbi Malka said that the city refreshed equipment in emergency shelters, even though the Israel Defense Forces have not issued special instructions. The city also made sure that its situation room was ready and that the municipal staff was briefed but, in the meanwhile, the status is routine.
