Jewish Home Chairman Naftali Bennett said following his meeting with President Peres that he endorsed the candidacy of PM Netanyahu. “I told the President we share much in common and can bridge the gap between many Israeli population groups towards coexistence. The world waits for no one, and it’s time to roll up our sleeves and work to solve the problems of Israel.”
Bennett spoke to Peres on the release of Jonathan Pollard, “The last elections dealt with shared responsibility, and the President has done much towards Pollard’s pardon. I expressed my hope he would continue to act on his behalf, along with the next government.”
