The British Times claims that its American and Israeli sources have said that the truck convoy blown up by the IAF was transporting Russian-made electronic equipemnt that could scramble the GPS navigational systems of unmanned aircraft.

Later reports said that the bombing was aimed at an army installation, but American sources claimed that the convoy was bringing arms to the Hizbullah, including SA-17 anti-aircraft missiles and that it is entirely possible that Israel carried out two attacks in Syria.
