New reports are filtering in about Tuesday alleged strike on the Lebanese-Syria border. New sources now state that an arms convoy was attacked Tuesday night. The convoy was carrying a Russian-made SA17 anti-aircraft missile among other weapons, according to sources.
The sources said that the shipment was intended for Hezbollah. The "Party of Allah" terrorist organization maintains a stronghold in southern Lebanon and fought against Israel in the Second Lebanon War of 2006.
Israel is not yet respond to the accusations that the Israeli Air Force eliminated the convoy in a preemptive strike.
