President Shimon Peres met this Wednesday evening with representatives of the Likud-Beiteinu faction who gained the greatest number of votes in the recent elections. Following the meeting he met with representatives of the second largest party, Yesh Atid. On Thursday the president is expected to officially task  Netanyahu with the forming the government.
 
President Peres will meet Thursday with the rest of the 12 parties who were elected to represent the citizens of Israel in the Knesset.
