Former Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi reacted on Tuesday night to the decision of the Attorney General to investigate him and his former aide, Erez Wiener, in what has come to be known as the Harpaz Affair.

“The moment they decided to investigate only me and Erez Weiner, the investigation is biased, unbalanced and not logical,” said Ashkenazi, who said he would demand that an investigation also held be held about the serious findings in relation to the State Comptroller's report regarding Defense Minister Ehud Barak and his office.
