In an unprecedented move, police have used footprints to confirm that they got the right suspect. The suspected is accused of stealing Electric Company equipment worth a total of six million shekels from various sites in southern Israel.

The 33-year-old suspect left clear footprints at the scene of one of his crimes. The prints were compared to his shoes after his arrest.
