Toronto Synagogue to Receive Funding for Security

The Beth Tikvah Synagogue in the Toronto district of North York will receive funding from the Canadian Ministry of Public Safety that will allow it to install security measures to protect itself against hate crimes, according to a report on Monday in Shalom Toronto.

According to the report, the synagogue will receive an amount of $32,769, which will be given to it as part of a federal assistance program to communities under threat of hate crimes for racial or religious reasons.
