Border Guards and police found explosives, Monday, at two Jerusalem-area locations. A member of the Samaria (Shomron)-Judea bomb squad discovered a pipe bomb in the Judean village of Al-Aida, next to Rachel's Tomb. The explosive had apparently been thrown the night before. It was neutralized.

An object suspected of being an explosive device was discovered by Border Guards in the area of the Zeitim Crossing. It was destroyed by a sapper.
