Prosecutors in Sharm Ash-Sheikh have appealed an Egyptian court ruling to release Israeli Andre  Pshenichnikov, who was arrested about a month ago in the Sinai Peninsula while trying to make his way to Gaza, according to the Bethlehem-based Ma'an news agency.

The 23-year-old native of Tajikistan was charged with illegal infiltration into Egypt.
