Two Palestinian Authority resident terrorists arrested Saturday night for throwing firebombs were planning an attack on the Jewish town of Elon Moreh in Samaria (Shomron). Police who searched the two during the arrest found grenades, more firebombs, and a letter in Arabic claiming responsibility for an attack on Elon Moreh in the name of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terrorist group.

As no attack had been carried out, it is believed that the two were on their way to commit an attack on the town. The letter was written on official Al-Aqsa Brigades stationary.
