Weather: Cooler with More Rain Expected Monday


There's a chance of scattered showers through Sunday morning, mainly in the southern and eastern parts of the country, including Eilat and the Arava. Otherwise it will be partly cloudy to overcast with a significant drop in temperature to the seasonal average. Slight additional cooling is expected on Monday, with light showers beginning in the afternoon and getting stronger at night, accompanied by a chance of isolated thunderstorms. Strong winds are forecast for Tuesday, making it unseasonably cool. Occasional rain from the north to the northern Negev will spread to most areas on Wednesday, accompanied by isolated thunderstorms and the risk of flash floods and other forms of flooding.
