President Shimon Peres said on Thursday that at the present time it is difficult to know whether the new government will resume peace negotiations with the Palestinian Authority, since it has not yet been determined which parties will be part of it.
Peres, when asked about the issue at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, replied, "It is not clear what direction the new government will take. I'll have to wait until Wednesday when, as president, I'll consult all the parties and hear their advice."
