Sderot's Bukhari Rabbi Killed in Auto Accident


Rabbi Yehuda Haimov, who served as a neighborhood rabbi and leader of the Bukhari (Uzbek) and Kavkazi (Caucasian) communities in Sderot, died, Thursday evening at Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon, from injuries suffered in an accident near the Ivim Junction, next to the western-Negev city. The 49-year-old rabbi was laid to rest, Friday morning in Sderot. He is survived by his wife, 11 children and a number of grandchildren.
