Robert Ford, the United States ambassador to Syria, confirmed, Thursday evening, that Anisa Makhlouf Al-Assad, the mother of Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad has left Syria and is staying in Dubai. Sources in both places have been reporting, over the last few days, that the president's mother has joined his sister Boushra Al-Assad, who left with her children, a few months ago.
