Israel's ambassador to the United Nations Ron Prosor compared the actions France is taking against terrorist strongholds in Mali to Israel's situation with Gaza. "If Mali is on the doorstep of France, then Gaza in the living room of Israel," he stated to the United Nations Security Council on Wednesday. "The countries supporting the struggle of France today, should support Israel in its war against Islamic terrorism tomorrow," he added.
