Rabbi Elisha Vishlitzky, the director of Beit Midrash Mahut spoke excitedly about the new strength of the Bayit Yehudi party (Jewish Home). In the 2009 elections, Bayit Yehudi gained 3 Knesset seats. In yesterday's election they shot up to possibly 11 or 12 depending on the final tally, which will be relased in the coming days.
He stated, "The Jewish Home Party represents Israel's independence, independence with content, independence with a soul, with great joy, with humility and courage to truly connected to the public. The joy is even greater due to those who tried to minimize and denigrate them. This plant will grow to become a large tree... a house with many floors," Rabbi Vishlitzky told Arutz Sheva news.
