Protest leader Dafni Leef was in court Wednesday to face charges of disorderly conduct, disturbing an officer, and resisting arrest. Leef argues that her actions were part of a non-violent protest, and that her arrest was illegal.

Leef is one of a group of organizers who took charge of the 2011 “cost of living” protests.
