Yair Lapid, head of the Yesh Atid party, posted on Facebook Wednesday morning, hours after his party’s surprise elections success.
“Over the past year, I’ve been asked over and over if I will stay with you on Facebook after I’m elected. So here. The elections are over, and as you see, I’m here,” he wrote.
Lapid’s party won 19 seats to become the second-largest faction. It had been predicted to be fourth or fifth-largest with 11 seats.
