Hatnua chairwoman Tzipi Livni said on Tuesday night that the results of the elections in Israel were a good opportunity to change policies.
“Since entering public life I’ve always said: first comes the State, then the party and then me. That’s how our decision making will look, so will be our considerations,” said Livni.
“This evening in Israel brings with it a great opportunity to make a change in the policy that has led us to this day,” she added. “It depends not only on us but also on the decisions we make, our priorities and our ability to work with others who until now may have been rivals, and now we need to put everything aside, forget the campaign, forget the vilification and say we're now working to change the bad policies that led Israel to this day.”
