Yisrael Beytenu chairman Avigdor Lieberman welcomed on Tuesday night the results of the election.
“I am pleased that our two main tasks were achieved: First, to establish a nationalist government. Second, to ensure the continuity of the premiership of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu,” Lieberman said at the Likud Beytenu election headquarters.
He added, “The five principles as set out by the Prime Minister will allow not only to establish a stable government for four years, but also increase the national camp as a whole. Even now, in retrospect, I have no doubt that the step we took was brave and honest, and the future will prove it.”
