The Free Syrian Army continued its siege on the last government military base near the Turkish border, the Cable News Network reported, Monday.

A Turkish citizen was seriously wounded when a bullet fired from the Syrian city of Ras Al-Ain strayed into a Turkish border village. The victim was the third to be hit in the last week in fighting between the rebels and members of the Kurdish underground for control of the city, which has been going on for months.
