A cliff fox was observed, Monday evening by a hidden camera on a cliff in the Ein Gedi area, next to the Dead Sea. The rare tiny predator has not been seen in Israel in many years and it was feared that it had disappeared from the scene.

The species has generally been seen only in Iran.
