Limited Election Campaign Continues

While gatherings, parades, the use of loudspeakers and media appearances are banned, a number of political parties will continue their efforts to influence voters until the polls close.

Frontrunning Likud-Beyteinu is combatting its decline in pre-election surveys by deploying 40,000 volunteers around the country, while second-place Labor intends to knock on 50,000 doors during the day. Chairman Naftali Bennett of Habayit Hayehudi (Jewish Home-New National Religious Party), which hung "do disturb" notes on the doors of residences overnight, will tour the country, and Tzipi Livni will call undecided voters in attempt to get them to vote for her Hatenu'ah party.
