The Better Place company announced on Monday that Dan Cohen would be appointed as its new global CEO, several days after Evan Thornley unexpectedly resigned from the position.

Until recently, Cohen served as Better Place’s deputy CEO in charge of strategy. He was recently appointed as CEO of Better Place Israel, and will now serve in both roles.
