Labor Plans to Appeal Kahlon Appointment

Member of Knesset Eitan Cabel, who heads the Labor party reaction team, said, Sunday evening, that the appointment of outgoing Communications and Welfare Minister Moshe Kahlon to head the board of the Israel Lands Administration is against the law and the orders of the attorney general regarding appointments during the election campaign.

Referring to the decline in the polls of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's Likud-Beyteinu Knesset list, Cabel said, "Netanyahu is in hysteria over the ongoing loss of mandates by Likud-Beyteinu and is unsheathing his perpetual band-aid, Moshe Kahlon." Cabel called the nomination, "a mockery to the intelligence of Israeli residents who understand that the prime minister did nothing for four years in order to lower the crazy housing prices, and now is trying to make a moral fraud to conceal it."
