The trial of Former Sephardic Chief Rabbi Eliahu Bakshi-Doron began Sunday at the Jerusalem District Court.
The Rabbi is facing charges which include fraud, attempted fraud and breach of trust for his role in granting about 1,000 fake rabbinical certificates to members of Israel's security services so that they could receive significantly higher wages.
