Lieberman Still Optimistic his Party Will Get 40 Seats

Former Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman expressed optimism Saturday, despite the decline of Likud-Beytenu in the polls, saying, "I have a good feeling about the election results, and even according to the reports that I get from the field and from activists, I'm sure that unlike quite a few surveys, we will get approximately 40 seats. "

Speaking at a cultural event in Be'er Sheva, Lieberman added, "Obviously you always expect more, but in my eyes, the results will be good and it correctly reflects the expectations from the union with Likud. I think that the union was the right thing, both before and after the fact."
