An Egyptian court on Saturday dismissed criminal cases against hundreds of people accused of being involved in clashes with police during the November 2011 protests in Cairo during which 42 protestors were killed. 

The State News Agency reported that 379 people were dismissed of all charges after President Mohamed Morsi offered amnesty to those facing charges relating to the violent protests which ousted former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.
