France on Saturday appealed to other world powers to help France in their efforts to rid Mali of al Qaeda-linked terrorists fighting for control of the country.
France asked for money and logistical support as African armies ready their troops to join French soldiers already battling the terrorists.
A regional African mission is expected to take over the fight from French forces but the African armies are short on financing, planning and ammunition.
