Hatnua chairwoman Tzipi Livni called on Friday for the resumption of peace talks with the Palestinian Authority as a way to solve what she called the current crisis between Israel and the United States.
"The day after the election, we need to clear the table with the U.S. and work together in order to resume peace negotiations, so that unilateral initiatives from the world are off the table," said Livni.
"Israel can be removed from the isolation, both the political and economical, that threatens it so much. From experience, it is possible," she added.
