The pound sterling was set at NIS 5.9306, down .638 percent, while 100 Japanese yen fell .707 percent to 4.131 shekels. The Australian dollar was fixed at 3.9063 shekels, down .207 percent, while its Canadian counterpart fell .255 percent to NIS 3.7617. The Swiss frank was set at 3.9691 shekels, down .834 percent, and the South African Rand slumped 1.106 percent to NIS .4201.
