Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said, Friday morning, that he was not ruling out any party from joining the coalition after the election but stressed that any party that does join must adhere to the line of the government that is formed. Interviewed by the Yisrael Hayom daily, he said he was not building a coalition right now but felt more comfortable with parties that did not have to justify their joining the government.
Netanyahu said, "Right now they're ruling out me and the Likud. We will determine the lines for government action and policy: Power and security, responsibility and adhering to our interests in the diplomatic field, economic responsibility, a more just distribution of the equal burden of service and lowering prices, especially the cost of housing. Whoever wants to step up to these lines will be invited to do so."
